Originally from Nagasaki, Japan, Yuko Uehana grew up near an American military base, where she assisted her father with his real estate surveying business.
After earning a degree in Pharmacy science, she went on to perform research on everything from cancer cell formation to clean water technology in Japan and Hawaii, where she has lived on the Big Island since 2014.
Yuko fell in love early on with Hawaii’s pristine hiking trails and stunning natural environment. Finding herself with a renewed interest in land and real estate, Yuko returned to the industry she grew up in, this time focusing on land and investment sales, where she quickly earned a strong reputation assisting both residents and international clientele across the Big Island.
She has been praised by agents and clients alike for her attention to detail and consistent professionalism.
In 2024, she joined Wai Pacific - a Compass real estate group, as their lead agent in East Hawaii.
In her free time, Yuko continues to explore the Big Island’s hidden treasures with her husband, an Ecologist, and enjoys competitive sports. Her talents also extend into the kitchen, where she is a Japan-certified advanced baker and prolific cook.
With a deep knowledge of the islands and over 25 years of combined experience spanning hundreds of real estate transactions, we provide a transformational real estate experience for our clients. E komo mai (welcome). We look forward to assisting you.
